Punk begun in the mid-1970's as an irksome, guerilla rebellion opposed to common current of music charted by the number or sales. Bands alike Green Day, Iggy Pop, and Rancid boosted punk rock back in the mid-1990's. This time the blend of lively, simple rock music with melodic popular melodies hang around on the TV. 1. blink-182 - Enema of the State
In blink-182's inexhaustible endeavour to offend all grown ups in the locality, this record album featured a model dressed as an enema governess on the cover. The music on the record is teenage and catchy including the monumental hit single “What's My Age Again.”
2. The Donnas - Spend the Night

3. Good Charlotte - Young and the Hopeless
A band from Waldorf, Maryland Good Charlotte blasted into the top ten of the popular music album chart with this set. It's filled with stories of university and problem parents. The big hit track is “The Anthem.”
4. Green Day - American Idiot
After retreating from their 90's fleeting surge of popularity, Green Day faded to the studio to mix punk's 1st rock opera. Although the American band was anxious about their fan's attitude to Letterbomb, it turned out to be an American rock classic climbing several charts and winning a Grammy award for Best Rock Album of two thousand and four.
5. The Lemonheads - It's a Shame About Ray
The Lemonheads' lead singer Evan Griffith Dando is the one and only punk musician to become a true teen dream-boy. Along the way the band wrote down some outstanding music, too, featuring “It's a Shame About Ray”, “Download Pressure” and “Rest Assured”.
6. The Offspring - Killboy Powerhead
The Offspring a highly influential American rock band from Garden Grove, California were one of the true punk renaissance bands from the 90's. On many occasions their songs touched with garage rock and heavy metal, but their very best music is pure punk. “Session” and “Self Esteem” are far beyond what is usual on this album.
7. Rancid - Avenues and Alleyways
Rancid a lot like such late 70's classic punk bands as the Clash. They also incorporate the sound of pop punk in almost all of their music.
8. Simple Plan - Still Not Getting Any…
This Canadian group appeared in the public eye in 2002 with their album Perfect. This 2nd record album is even better and covers the hit single “My Alien.”
9. Sum 41 - Pain For Pleasure

10. Weezer - Jamie (Blue Album)
Although they are esteemed as founders of the anti-establishment rock music genre, Weezer's music is also true pop punk. “Undone - The Sweater Song” was their first hit and then a video putting the band in a Happy Days episode stimulated to make “Buddy Holly” even more popular.
